Vote for the Most Anticipated Album of June 2015
Summers are prime time for live music -- but they're also prime time for new music. The June calendar is stacked with new country releases, and The Boot needs our readers' help determining which upcoming disc deserves the title of Album of the Month for June 2015.
Four new records will be released on June 2: Billy Currington's Summer Forever; Gloriana's Three, which features their latest single "Trouble"; the Kentucky Headhunters' collaboration with blues pianist Johnnie Johnson, Meet Me in Bluesland; and Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard's Django and Jimmie.
The following week, on June 9, A Thousand Horses will release their debut album, Southernality, featuring their debut single "Smoke"; the week will also see new music from Sammy Kershaw (I Won't Back Down), Montgomery Gentry (Folks Like Us), Dale Watson (Call Me Insane) and Laura Bell Bundy (Another Piece of Me). On June 16, Ed Helms' the Lonesome Trio will release their self-titled debut album, and the SteelDrivers will share The Muscle Shoals Recordings.
Kacey Musgraves, Canaan Smith and Corey Smith will all release new music on June 23: Pageant Material, Bronco and While the Gettin' Is Good -- featuring his newest single, "Feet Wet" -- respectively. Easton Corbin and JB and the Moonshine Band will round out the month with About to Get Real and Mixtape, respectively, on June 30.
Which of June's new releases are you most looking forward to? Vote in the poll below as often as once per hour through the end of the month (May 31 at 11:59PM ET), and the album with the most votes will be named The Boot's Album of the Month for June 2015.
(Editor's Note: This poll originally included Maddie & Tae's Start Here, which was originally set for release on June 2. The release date has been pushed back to Aug. 28, and therefore, the album has been removed from this month's poll.)
