Kacey Musgraves

Kacey Musgraves first found herself in the national country music spotlight in 2007, during her time on the TV show 'Nashville Star'; she was just 18 years old and placed seventh overall. After releasing five independent projects, Musgraves released her first single, "Merry Go Round," in 2012 and her freshman album, 'Same Trailer Different Park', in 2013. All three of her albums -- including 2015's 'Pageant Material' and 2018's 'Golden Hour' -- have hit No. 1. In addition to a legion of fans, Musgraves' quirky and tell-it-like-it-is writing style have earned her numerous awards nominations; in 2014, she won a Grammy Award for Best Country Song, for "Merry Go Round," and another for Best Country Album, for 'Same Trailer Different Park'.
