As part of a push to lure tourists back to the once again pristine beaches of the Emerald Coast following the devastating oil spill, Vince Gill will lend his time and legendary talent to host a free 'Back to the Beach' concert on September 25.

The Grammy-winning superstar and avid golfer will perform a 90-minute, free, outdoor show from the Beaches of South Walton along Florida's Northwest Gulf Coast, on the award-winning Links Golf Course driving range at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.

"We're showing thanks to our visitors and residents with the opportunity to experience the musical talents of the legendary Vince Gill," said Dawn Moliterno, executive director of the Beaches of South Walton TDC. "We hope this will entice those who have never been to our destination with an added incentive to come and see our beautiful beaches and communities, as well as welcome back our loyal visitors who may not have made it here this summer."

Two of those loyal visitors happen to be Vince and wife, Amy Grant, who over the years have vacationed frequently along the Florida panhandle.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the show starts at 6:00 P.M., but gates will open at 4:00 P.M. so fans can come early and spread their beach blankets. Although the concert is free, fans will need to secure tickets beforehand. Details are available here.
