Rising country artist William Michael Morgan is mostly unharmed after a New Year's Day (Jan. 1) car accident.

"Angels were watching me tonight," Morgan writes on Facebook, along with a photo of his Jeep, the front passenger side of which had been crumpled in a crash. "Thank you good lord. Thank you ..."

After fans expressed concern in the photo's comments section, Morgan posted an update the following day (Jan. 2) to let everyone know that he is, for the most part, just fine.

“Thanks everyone for you sweet messages last night,” Morgan writes. “I’m going now to get all of my stuff out of the Jeep … Only thing wrong is it's hard to walk on my left knee, but I think time will heal that. All is well. Thank you Jesus.”

Morgan is currently gaining traction at country radio with his debut single, "I Met a Girl." The 21-year-old has cracked the Top 40 with the song, which was co-written by Sam Hunt, Shane McAnally and Old Dominion‘s Trevor Rosen. The tune is available for download on iTunes.

The singer has concert dates scheduled from mid-January through the end of the month. More information can be found on his website.
