Tenille Townes lends her warm vocals and keen ear for melody to two new festive tunes this holiday season, including the original number "One in a Million." In the dreamy, pared-down song, Townes waxes wistful about a love that's as unique and irreplicable as each individual snowflake. Press play above to listen!

"Oh, how they sparkle and shine in the night / Oh, how they dazzle and twinkle in light / Each one is one of a kind / Oh, but you're the only one for this heart of mine," Townes sings. She co-wrote the tune with Daniel Tashian, who she also collaborated with for "White Horse."

In addition to releasing her own original take on a holiday song, Townes also shared her take on "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire.)" The singer takes a similarly stripped down and straight-ahead approach in her rendition, offering up a faithful version of a classic that still showcases her unmistakable vocal style.

Townes kicked off the holiday season with a performance of her breakout hit, "Somebody's Daughter," at the 2019 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. For Christmas, she'll head home to Canada to enjoy some much-needed vacation with her family. Although she's looking forward to the downtime, the singer admitted to The Boot in November that her hectic touring schedule this year makes it difficult to adjust to a slower pace.

"Right now, I go a little stir crazy at home. it's like, when you're out on the road, there's so many people and it's so exciting! And then you get home and, all of the sudden, everything stops, and it's quiet," she explained. "It's kind of like, 'Uh, what am I supposed to do?'

"But I'm learning to try and embrace that time, recharge and read some books, write some songs and kind of find my footing back in the stillness," Townes continued. "So I know the holidays will be a good time to check in on that."
