Old Crow Medicine Show have announced the release of a new album and an accompanying tour.

'Remedy' will hit retailers on July 1. The band's tour to support the album begins May 22 in Mobile, Ala., with dates running through October.

“This is country music for people who think country music needs a whoopin’” says OCMS's Ketch Secor. “Country music that knows how deep its roots run -- from the dirtiest blues to the folkiest folk, the songwriters, the crooners and the Outlaws, to the Opry stage; it’s all here.”

One of the band's first popular tracks was 'Wagon Wheel,' a tune that was originally on a Bob Dylan work tape completed by Secor. The song gained popularity again in 2013 with Darius Rucker's cover. 'Remedy' contains a second original Dylan tune, 'Sweet Amarillo.'
