Country string band Old Crow Medicine Show have announced their expansive cross-country in support of their upcoming studio album, Volunteer, which will drop on April 20. The tour is set to kick off in Nashville, Tenn., on the same day of the album's release.

In advance of the album, the group premiered the upcoming album's first track, "Whirlwind," on Rolling Stone CountryThe song, which closes the album, reflects on a couple's life together as they move from town to town and from one life stage to another. For the group, this message has personal resonance: The album's release also celebrates the occasion of their 20-year anniversary.

"There's a great power in the story of a marriage taking place amidst the great uncertainty of massive social upheaval that was happening all around with that generation," frontman Ketch Secur tells Rolling Stone. "...And that kind of story becomes a universal one in the context of country music, because no matter what your twist or your hurricane is, you've got to ride it out."

Old Crow Medicine show will celebrate their first studio album in four years with two nights onstage at the Grand Ole Opry, before heading out on the road for a cross-country tour that includes stops at festivals, amphitheatres and Willie Nelson's own Outlaw Music Fest.
