Carolyn Dawn Johnson Expecting Baby No. 2!

Singer-songwriter Carolyn Dawn Johnson is proud to announce that she is expecting her second child next year!

"I'm going to have two babies running around, as my first, Abigail, will be about 17 1/2 months older than the new one!" Carolyn Dawn tells The Boot. "It will be a busy house! I've said this before, but I'll say it again ... the joy of a child is truly unmeasurable. This has been such a beautiful season in my life!"

While she awaits her new bundle of joy, Carolyn Dawn is keeping herself busy these days working on a new album.

"It's not as easy to get this one done as it has been in the past, and as I get further along in my pregnancy, it has been a challenge singing with the lack of space in my abdominal cavity! There's no room to breathe," she says with laughter. "Nevertheless, I'm excited about it. We've tracked all the songs now, and it's just a matter of catching the magical performances on tape and finishing it up."
