Happy International Country Music Day! September 17 is the day the world celebrates country music, with the date also commemorating the birth of country music legend Hank Williams.

To mark the holiday, the readers of www.icmday.com have chosen Willie Nelson's 'Crazy' as the International Country Music Song of 2008. In the online poll, 'Crazy' (famously recorded by Patsy Cline) was up against two other Nelson classics for the honor: 'Always On My Mind' and 'Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys.' ICMDAY.org wanted this year's theme song to be a Nelson tune, to honor the Redheaded Stranger's 75th birthday, which he celebrated in April.
