For the first time in Willie Nelson's iconic, six-decade-long career, he's actually getting right to the point. His new album will simply be titled "Country Music.'

The Boot broke the news of Willie's collaboration with famed producer T Bone Burnett back in September, with Willie describing the collection as his first bluegrass album. T Bone later told The Boot that the term "bluegrass" wasn't really around during the time most of the classic tunes on the album were first written or recorded -- hence the 'Country Music' title.

According to Billboard, the album is being released April 13 by independent label Rounder Records, which took home the Album of the Year Grammy in 2009 for the Robert Plant and Alison Krauss collaboration, 'Raising Sand.' Also due in 2010 from the label, a new album from Mary Chapin Carpenter, and the long-awaited return of Alison Krauss and Union Station.

Willie, who at 76 still spends more than 200 days a year on the road playing music, is expected to perform several of the tunes from the new album in concert.
