The Foo Fighters' lead guitarist, Chris Shiflett, has released a solo country album, 'West Coast Town'.

There's been lots of buzz around the Zac Brown Band's involvement with Dave Grohl and his band Foo Fighters, particularly regarding ZBB's 'The Grohl Sessions' record, produced by the musician. In a continuation of their partnership -- this time, with the roles reversed -- Foo Fighters recorded 'Congregation,' a tune off their upcoming 'Sonic Highways' album and inspired by Nashville, at Brown's Southern Ground Studios.

The Foo Fighters already had a close country connection, as lead singer Dave Grohl worked with the Zac Brown Band on their latest album, 'The Grohl Sessions, Vol. 1,' but now the entire band is embracing the Nashville music scene.

Dierks Bentley got his 2012 Country & Cold Cans Tour off to a running start Friday, April 13 in Los Angeles. He was joined by openers the Eli Young Band and Will Hoge, in addition to a few famous friends.
