Steve Moakler Announces Born Ready Tour, Is ‘Fired Up to Hit the Road’ in 2018
Steve Moakler has announced the schedule for his 2018 Born Ready Tour, supporting his upcoming album of the same name. The tour, backed by Mack Trucks, Moakler's partner in the Born Ready campaign, will launch on March 22 in Lancaster, Pa. Corey Kent White will be joining Moakler on tour as a special guest for most of the dates.
"I’m fired up about getting back on the road this spring!” Moakler says in a press release. “This will be our fifth consecutive spring headline tour, and I’m honored that Mack Trucks will be a part of our growing tradition this year. I can’t wait to play the new music we’ve been working on and start a new chapter with our fans. I think it’s gonna be the best one yet!”
While he may still be a newcomer as a performer in his own right, Moakler has long been a critical piece in the puzzle of the Nashville country songwriting scene. Best known for penning songs for stars such as Jake Owen, Eric Church, Kellie Pickler and Dierks Bentley (you can thank him for Bentley's 2015 hit "Riser"), Moakler released his fourth studio album, Steel Town, in March of 2017 and will drop Born Ready later in 2018.
