As most of us suffer through the scorching heat of the summer months, Shania Twain turned to the studio in a festive mood, recording a duet of 'White Christmas' with pop crooner Michael Buble. The holiday collaboration between two of Canada's most successful musical exports will appear on Michael's Christmas collection, due out this holiday season.

Regarding the new disc, Michael teases, "There's a couple duets that I really like, one with Shania Twain, which is really fantastic. We did it bouncy. I was inspired by 'Home Alone,' the Drifters."

This marks the second high-profile duet for the country superstar this year. Shania provides the female vocals on 'Endless Love,' a reprise of the 1981 classic that will appear on pop icon Lionel Richie's upcoming country duets albums. Darius Rucker, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Willie Nelson, Little Big Town and Jimmy Buffett have all been confirmed to appear on the collaborative collection.

But it's not all duets for the global superstar. This year marks the reemerging of Shania as a solo artist as the singer-songwriter returned to country radio earlier this summer with 'Today Is Your Day,' her first single in six years. The track served as the theme song for the singer's OWN Network reality show, 'Why Not? With Shania Twain.'
