Rascal Flatts made history last Saturday night and added another first to their resumes' as the first country artists ever to headline Wrigley Field. The boys, who brought their 'Unstoppable' tourmate Darius Rucker and special guest Vince Gill along for the fun, became members of a very elite group of artists who have headlined the home of the Chicago Cubs -- a group that includes Jimmy Buffett, the Police, Elton John and Billy Joel.

Gocountry105.com reports that the trio had the crowd of 40,000 on its feet for nearly four hours, and that the Flatts' 90-minute show included a special, stripped-down set where they brought Gill back out and harmonized with him on his hit, 'Whenever You Come Around.' The mini-set was a special moment for guitarist Joe Don Rooney, who backstage admitted that fellow Oklahoman Gill has always been his hero.

Rucker was also impressed with his inclusion in the monumental show, noting he's now officially the answer to a trivia question: "Who were the first country acts ever to play Wrigley Field?"
