April showers bring May flowers -- and this year, May brings seven new country albums, all vying for The Boot's Album of the Month title for May 2015.

The fifth month of the year kicks off with three new releases during its first week: Granger Smith's 4X4 EP, set for release on (fittingly) May 4, and Chris Stapleton's debut solo album, Traveller, and Jason Michael Carroll's What Color Is Your Sky, both scheduled to drop on May 5.

Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell's long-awaited new joint record, The Traveling Kindis set for release on May 12, while Kelsea Ballerini will release her debut full-length album, The First Time, on May 19.

May wraps up with two new country discs on May 26: Eilen Jewell's Sundown Over Ghost Town and the Lacs' Outlaw in Me.

Which of May's seven new country records deserves the title of The Boot's Album of the Month? Cast a vote for your pick below! You can vote as often as once per hour through the end of the month (April 30).

On May 1, we'll tabulate the results and feature the winning album as our May 2015 Album of the Month.
