There are few things more enticing than a fair midway, with its mixed aromas of cotton candy, grilled brats with peppers and onions, and funnel cakes. Miranda Lambert admits that she will not be immune to those temptations when she performs at fairs and festivals across the U.S. this summer. Her special weakness is anything fried.

"Oh, my gosh, I like every fried thing on the face of the planet," the singer confesses with a laugh. "I guess funnel cakes are my favorite, but I haven't had one in two years probably."

Lambert remembers a few years ago when she was playing a fair and happened to mention onstage that she had a weakness for funnel cakes. It wasn't long before fans started bringing the delightful concoction to the front of the stage.

"I was about to get a physical trainer, and so I think I ate two of them, just because I was blowing it out, having one last hurrah," the singer remembers.

Lambert also loves a good corn dog and offers her best advice when indulging in one. "You've got to go for the foot-long one. Don't go for the small one," she admonishes. "If you're gonna do it, you might as well do it big."

Lambert won't have as much time to find these fried delicacies this summer, because she's busy touring with Kenny Chesney's Sun City Carnival tour. But when she does have shows at places like the Hodag Country Festival in Rhinelander, Wisconsin and the Lorain County Fair in Wellington, Ohio, where she will surely find time to sample both funnel cakes and corn dogs!
