Just when Miranda Lambert had mended fences with Ashton Kutcher over his controversial ACM Awards show appearance, she found herself embroiled in another controversy after the interview Eric Church gave to Rolling Stone in which the outspoken country-rocker criticized TV singing competitions such as "The Voice" -- which features Miranda's husband, Blake Shelton, as one of the show's coaches. But even though Eric quickly issued a statement clarifying his remarks about his fellow country stars, Miranda feels he may still have some explaining to do.

In a morning-show chat with south Florida radio station KISS Country, Miranda seems willing to forgive (if not completely forget) the incident, but adds that Eric (who toured with her as an opening act in 2010) probably has his work cut out for him when it comes to making it all right with herself and with others who may have been upset by his criticism.

"I'll be fine," says the singer when asked how she would react if she were to run into him. "I'm sure that he would be groveling because he should."

Still, Miranda doesn't put all the blame on the "Springsteen" singer. "It's sad that he probably got roped into a really bad interview," she notes. "I think it's sad that they portrayed him that way and that he actually portrayed himself that way and cut down his friends. He probably didn't realize he was cutting down his friends when he did it, but either way, he said something stupid and it's going to take a long time to make it up to people that he offended."

In addition to revealing what she did with the $1,000 she won at the Kentucky Derby, Miranda also answers the oft-asked question, will she and Blake will ever do a duets album together?

"We can't," she responds. "We have such different tastes and we're so different, musically, I just don't know how it would even work. People ask us if we would go on tour together. I don't know, it's kind of cool, we've just both got something cool going on separately, we're just enjoying that right now."

Clearly Miranda and Blake are enjoying their individual victories of late. Jermaine Paul, of Team Blake, was crowned the winner this week on NBC's "The Voice."

Miranda is continuing her On Fire tour, which will include her trio, Pistol Annies, throughout the summer. Keep track of her tour schedule here.
