If you're thinking of trying a clever pickup line on Miranda Lambert next time you see her out on the town, think twice. Other than the fact that she's dating Blake Shelton, Miranda says such tactics aren't her cup of tea. "I don't think there should be such a thing as a pickup line," Miranda tells The Boot. "Because they don't ever work! It just makes you look worse."

Miranda says she's dealt with her fair share of witty come-ons, which she can laugh about now. "Somebody actually said this to me one time," she recalls with a shake of her head. "He said, 'Are you tired? Because you've been running through my mind all night.' I just don't think there's a pickup line that's good out there!"

Miranda's new single, 'The House That Built Me' is from her ACM-nominated album, 'Revolution' -- one of six awards she's up for on Sunday night (April 18). She is currently out on the road with her first headlining tour, Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars.
