Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real are offering a free download of a new track to fans with the purchase of any piece of merchandise from their website.

The free song, 'I'm Gone,' comes off of the band's upcoming album, 'Love Yourself.'

"We would like to give the fans a live studio track from some sessions at John Avila's studio, Brando's Paradise," Nelson says. "It's a song I wrote a long time ago about the life I live, and we wanted to let the fans have it for free when they purchase a piece of merchandise. Thanks to all the folks out there who support us."

'I'm Gone' was written by Nelson and his brother Micah, who also plays acoustic guitar on the tune. It focuses on the interest that they have received because of their father, Willie Nelson, with lyrics like, "You met my daddy back in '73 / You drank his whiskey, you were smoking his weed / People want to know me because they think they're going back in time / It's all about a name and it's a game that isn't worth my time."

A release date for 'Love Yourself' has not been announced. More information about the upcoming release is available here.
