Little Big Town and Faith Hill took the stage at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night (May 17) to perform LBT's newest single, "Girl Crush."

Karen Fairchild's lead vocals on the song's first verse and chorus were crystal clear and as stunning as ever, and as she sang, dressed in a short, sequined red dress and black knee-high boots, she stood out from the rest of her bandmates, who wore all-black ensembles. Hill appeared from backstage to take the lead on the second verse, then harmonized beautifully with LBT's four members.

The five country artists earned a standing ovation at the end of their performance -- and a big cheer of approval from Taylor Swift.

Despite some controversy surrounding the song's lyrics, “Girl Crush” recently had 2015's best sales week for a country single so far.

“I knew as soon as I heard the hook of the first chorus that we had to have this song,” Fairchild recalls. “I’d never heard a jealousy song written like this. It’s definitely one of the best songs I’ve ever heard, and to get to sing it every night is a gift."

Little Big Town recently announced additional fall dates on their 2015 Pain Killer Tour. A complete list of their tour dates is available on the group’s website.
