LeAnn Rimes has released more than three dozen singles since she first hit the airwaves as a precocious 13-year-old belting out the chart-topping tune, 'Blue.' But it's the 29-year-old's current single, 'Give,' that she says has had the most impact on her personal life, thanks to an emotion-packed video that includes several homeless children from the streets of Chicago.

"My life is forever changed from this experience," LeAnn shares on her website. "One thing they all said to me is no one looks them in the eye when they see them on the streets, so there's a deep loneliness there and a feeling of almost not existing. I will now always look anyone who's homeless in the eye and smile. That smile could make their whole day."

To shoot the video, the new bride of actor Eddie Cibrian partnered with the Windy City's Stand Up For Kids organization, whose goal is to serve homeless children and youth through several outreach programs. The songbird hopes that through the tune, she can help alleviate the devastating effects of homelessness, which claims the lives of 13 children in the United States every day.

"'Give' is a song with a message about how if we want love, kindness and happiness in our lives, then we need to give some of that back," she adds. "I believe that message needs to be shared with the world."

'Give' is the third single from LeAnn's upcoming album, 'Lady and Gentlemen,' which features her rendition of several previously-recorded songs made famous by male artists. The CD, which was co-produced by Vince Gill, hits shelves on September 27.
