LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian Renew Vows: Couple Reties Knot on First Anniversary

It seems Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have some competition in the romance department. On Friday, as the R&B songstress and her multi-talented husband marked their anniversary by renewing their vows, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian did likewise, celebrating their first year of marriage by saying "I do" all over again.

"Renewed our vows today....it's incredible to thank each other for the past year as husband and wife," Rimes tweeted. "Here's to another great year!"

LeAnn and Eddie famously found each other at a time when both were married to other people, and the 29-year-old country star has endured a fair amount of controversy because of the relationship. Much of the drama will find its way into her next album, Spitfire, which she previewed last month in Hollywood.

"If I didn't live it, I didn't write it," she told an audience that included The Boot. "Somewhere in this you'll find a storyline."
