Lady Antebellum helped the Nashville Predators open Game 5 of their 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs series vs. the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday night (May 5), performing the National Anthem prior to puck drop. It was a reprise performance of sorts, as the country trio also sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" prior to a playoff game in 2017.

Despite a small lyric flub from Charles Kelley, he, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood finished strong -- and their harmonies were on point throughout the big moment. The trio quickly offered their apologies for the mistake on social media after their performance.

Thus far in the Predators vs. Jets series, Dierks Bentley and Del McCoury and Carrie Underwood have performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Nashville's home games. The best-of-seven second-round series was tied at two games apiece headed into Game 5; the Jets won Game 1 and Game 3, while the Preds took Game 2 and Game 4. Game 6 will occur in Winnipeg on May 7, and Game 7, if necessary, will happen back in Nashville on May 10.

Nashville defeated the Colorado Avalanche four games to two in their first-round playoffs matchup. Rascal FlattsBrad Paisley and Maren Morris sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the team's three home games during that series.

The Nashville Predators' tradition of inviting country superstars to perform the National Anthem prior to home playoff games began during the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Last year, Underwood -- who is married to Predators player Mike Fisher -- was the first to get involved, but Luke BryanLittle Big TownTrisha Yearwood and many more also got in on the fun throughout the Preds' Stanley Cup run.
