How do you top a surprise National Anthem performance by Carrie Underwood? You bring out Luke Bryan. The country superstar was the Nashville Predators' National Anthem singer of choice for before Game 4 of their Stanley Cup Playoffs series vs. the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night (April 20).

Readers can press play above to watch Bryan's performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Bridgestone Arena. Like Underwood, the singer donned a Predators jersey for the song and ended his performance by waving a Predators rally towel in the air.

Following his National Anthem performance, Bryan shared a photo of himself at ice level in Bridgestone Arena. "Let's do this @PredsNHL," the caption reads.

His Thursday night National Anthem performance wasn't Bryan's only high-profile Anthem performance of 2017: In February, he performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" before Super Bowl LI, a cappella.

The Predators defeated the Blackhawks 4-1 on Thursday night, ending their first-round Stanley Cup Playoffs series with a four-game sweep. The Predators will face either the Minnesota Wild or the St. Louis Blues in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs; St. Louis leads that series 3-1.

In early May, Bryan will begin his summertime Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day Tour. Additionally, he has headlining sets at the 2017 Tortuga Music Festival and WE Fest 2017 on his calendar.
