The King of Country is now the King of the Charts, as George Strait's 37th album, 'Troubadour,' has made its debut at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and the Top Country Albums charts. That means, with 167,000 copies sold, he outsold any artist of any genre last week.

This is the third time in Strait's career that he's had a No. 1 album on both charts. It's his 11th time on top of the country album charts.

The country legend recorded 'Troubadour' at Jimmy Buffett's Key West studio, Shrimpboat Sound -- a beat-up shack on the waterfront that used to be a shrimp storage cooler. The album's first single, 'I Saw God Today,' is sitting pretty at No. 2 on the singles charts.
