Clint Black is following in another famous country artist's footsteps this year, appearing on the upcoming season of 'Celebrity Apprentice.' Trace Adkins, recently nominated for his first Grammy, made it all the way to the season finale last year before being beat out by British newspaper editor Piers Morgan in the final round.

Hoping to win the coveted cash prize -- which would go to Black's charity of choice, the International Rett Syndrome Foundation -- Black called Adkins to see if he could offer any pointers. "It's not easy," Adkins told GAC, recalling their chat. "He wanted to see if I could give him some pointers or advice, and I told him, 'I really can't. You just gotta be yourself, keep your head on a swivel and react to what's going on around you, and just try to survive."

This next season of 'Celebrity Apprentice,' which debuts March 1 on NBC, includes basketball star Dennis Rodman, comedienne Joan Rivers, comedian Andrew Dice Clay, R&B singer Brian McKnight, and reality TV star Khloe Kardashian.
