In their latest music videos, these country singers explored destinations. Some were external -- beautiful vistas, scenic beaches and surprising roadside stops -- while others, just as compellingly, evoked the places we travel to inside our own heads. Read on to learn more!

Yola, "Faraway Look":

British singer/songwriter Yola goes retro sci-fi in the video for her "Faraway Look," a song that tells the story of a world that's both more and less connected at the same time. Images of people less interested in their physical lives than their electronic ones are set to the rich backdrop of Yola's soaring vocals.

“My new video has got a faintly Black Mirror feel to it … We watch other people live out their dreams as we count down the clock on life and check out from existence,” Yola tells American Songwriter. “’Faraway Look’ makes me think of a time in my life where I was encouraged to stay in my lane and be thankful for my lot, which it led to a lot of inner reflection... The people around me at the time, especially those in the music industry, were discouraging to say the least. In a world that questions a woman’s every objection as well as every ambition, the faraway look is king.”

Parker Millsap, "Let a Little Light In":

Parker Millsap's pounding new anthem, "Let a Little Light In," captures the upbeat feel of life on tour, as Milsap and his bandmates trek across the country. The lyrics of the song explore the joy the group finds in all the small things along the way.

“A lot of the shots, we just drove down country roads until we saw a nice vista and pulled off the road,” Millsap tells Rolling Stone. “At one pull-off in the middle of nowhere, Colorado, there was a little house and this nice farmer named Bob West came out and greeted us. He took us to the top of his property, Whiskey Belle Ranch, and let us shoot as the sun set over the mountains. It was magical to say the least. He even invited us to his family’s restaurant to buy us steaks, but we had to get to the gig.”

King Calaway, "World for Two":

New country act King Calaway hit the beaches to make the music video for their single, "World for Two." Produced by Robert Deaton, father of drummer Chris Deaton, the six-member band also includes Caleb Miller, Simon Dumas, Jordan Harvey, Chad Michael Jervis and Austin Luther. Filmed on the Malibu coastline, the video captures the romantic vibe of the song.

“We had the best time shooting this music video!” Deaton tells PEOPLE. “‘World for Two’ is about taking a step back from the hectic world we live in and spending time with someone you love. El Matador was an incredible location for filming and we really love that the organic setting of the beach mirrors the authentic feel of the song.”
