Willie Nelson has shared another new song from his upcoming album, Last Man Standing. Readers can press play above to watch a video of the track "Something You Get Through." The slow and sentimental waltz was written by the country legend and his longtime friend and co-producer Buddy Cannon. Cannon overheard Nelson consoling a friend who had lost a loved one, and took the country star's words of comfort to heart.

"She had obviously lost someone very recently-her husband, or somebody-and she was talking to Willie about it…I heard the woman say, 'I don't think I'll ever get over this.'" Cannon recalls in a press release, "And Willie looked at her and he said: 'It's not something you get over, but it's something you'll get through.' That just stuck in my brain. I tried but I couldn't get that thought out of my head for two or three years. I knew there was a song in there. Finally, one day I texted him about it, and we kicked it around. It ended up being one of my favorite songs."

"Something You Get Through" follows on the heels of "Me and You" and "Last Man Standing," the first songs to be released from the album. Last Man Standing is set for release April 27, just two days before Nelson celebrates his 85th birthday. Nelson has also announced plans to once again lead his Outlaw Music Festival Tour in 2018, kicking off the first leg of the 17-stop trek in Raleigh, N.C. on May 25. The tour's second leg will begin this September.
