The Band Perry created quite a stir during last week's CMA Awards telecast, with the premiere of their new single, "Better Dig Two." The tune's message of the unbreakable bonds of love quickly resonated with fans as it began trending nationwide on Twitter's Top 10. The hard-driving track also jumped to No. 1 on the iTunes Country Singles chart and made it to No. 3 on the Overall Top Singles Chart with sales of more than 82,000 in the first week.

Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry told on-air radio personalities recently that "Better Dig Two" is "the ultimate love song ... the kind of love not even death can separate." Reviews of the hot new single have been favorable as well, with the New York Times describing the sibling trio's CMA performance as "dangerously impressive, a morbid, furious stomp that showcased frontwoman Kimberly Perry's dark ideas and rich voice." While the "Better Dig Two" lyric video showcases the message of eternal love through the words of the song, the threesome recently shot the song's official music video just outside Nashville with director Declan Whitebloom.

The Band Perry also participated in the taping of the "CMA Country Christmas" special, set to air on ABC, Dec. 20 and 22. The siblings head to Europe this week for shows in Sweden, Norway, Ireland and the UK. "Better Dig Two" is the first single from the group's forthcoming sophomore album, due for release in April 2013. It's the follow-up to their platinum, self-titled debut album, which featured two gold-certified hits, "All Your Life," and "You Lie," along with the chart-topping, four-million-selling "If I Die Young."
