Florida Georgia Line Team With Tayla Parx for ‘Fight’ [LISTEN]

Florida Georgia Line are part of another cross-genre collaboration. Songwriter, singer and actor Tayla Parx enlisted the country duo for her brand-new song, "Fight," which readers can hear above.

Co-written by Parx, FGL's Tyler Hubbard and Josh Miller, according to PopCulture.com, "Fight" finds Parx and Hubbard trading off lead vocals as the two halves of a couple. "We could scream and shout," they point out in harmony, "but I'd rather have my arms around you right about now."

"I'm not sayin' I'm right, I'm not sayin' you're wrong / I'm just sayin' right now, I wanna get along / I, I, I don't wanna fight / I, I, I don't wanna fight," goes the chorus of "Fight." "Neither of us have to shoulder the blame / You could be mad as hell, I'd still love you the same ..."

As a songwriter, Parx landed three Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 songs in 2018: Khalid and Normani's "Love Lies," Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next" and Panic! at the Disco's "High Hopes." She's released a number of singles since 2015, a 2017 EP and a full-length album in April. Acting-wise, she portrayed Little Inez in the 2007 version of Hairspray, and had a brief role on the TV show True Jackson, VP.

Florida Georgia Line released their newest album, Can't Say I Ain't Country, in February, but they're already back in the studio. On Monday (Nov. 18), the duo shared an in-studio selfie, and on Wednesday (Nov. 20), Hubbard posted a photo of his daughter, Olivia, in the studio with him.
