Singer-songwriter Katie Armiger is facing another lawsuit from her former label, Cold River Records.

The Boot has obtained country artist Katie Armiger's lawsuit filing against her former record label, Cold River Records, which, in addition to disputing the claims in the label's original suit against her, claims that Cold River executives encouraged Armiger to "sex it up" in order to get ahead in her career.

Following her June of 2015 departure from Cold River Records, Katie Armiger and her former label continue to battle back and forth.

Katie Armiger raised more than a few eyebrows when her former label, Cold River Records, announced that the singer would be taking a break from country music earlier this year. Armiger quickly disputed the label's statement, but after that, not much was heard about the situation. Now, however, Armiger insists that she is "not retiring from country music."

After four albums and a handful of charting singles, Katie Armiger has decided to step away from country music for the time being.
