Rascal Flatts' 'Why Wait' has climbed to the top of both the Country Aircheck/Mediabase and Billboard country charts this week. On Mediabase, The Band Perry's 'If I Die Young' falls to No. 2, followed by Reba at No. 3 with 'Turn on the Radio.' The Billboard chart shows the Zac Brown Band's 'As She's Walking Away' with Alan Jackson at No. 2 with The Band Perry at No. 3.

'Why Wait' is a tune unlike other songs the trio have previously recorded, but the guys are sure glad they did. "I love it, because we've never done a shuffle before, and it was a different thing for us to do," says bassist Jay DeMarcus. Bandmate Joe Don Rooney agrees, "Really different. We're always trying to find a different flavor of a groove for a song, and this is completely different from anything we've ever cut."

'Why Wait' is from Rascal Flatts' new album, 'Nothing Like This,' which recently debuted at the top of the Billboard country album chart. Its video is The Boot's No. 1 pick for the best video of 2010! Read our year-end countdown here.
