Randy Houser may look like a big, masculine, tough guy -- and he is -- but the singer is also a major softie, especially when it comes to his dogs.

The singer tells PeoplePets.com he recently acquired a third dog out on the road, which he named Dolly, because "when she whines, she sounds like Dolly Parton, and she's blonde too." Dolly joins Tucker ("he likes to hug") and Ellie ("a lab") as part of Randy's brood.

Randy picked up the new addition to his family at a festival in Chickamauga, Ga. "This lady said she had a dog," recalls Randy. "I wanted to see her, so they brought her to my bus. The first thing she did was climb up behind me on the couch and fall asleep behind my neck. So, I obviously [rolls his eyes] had to take her."

The Mississippi native will most likely leave the pooches at home when he joins Gary Allan on his Get off on the Pain tour -- also featuring Jerrod Niemann -- when it kicks off in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 16, just days before the release of his sophomore album, 'They Call Me Cadillac,' on September 21.
