Two of country music's most legendary ladies are teaming up for a duets album. Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis must be having a great time on tour together, because they're now extending their partnership into the recording studio.

"I am currently working on a new album of duets with Pam Tills, set to be released this summer!" Lorrie writes on her website (as first reported by Nashville Gab). "Together, we are co-writing songs for the project and selecting material from some of Nashville's hit songwriters."

The Grits & Glamour tour, featuring Lorrie and Pam, currently has dates scheduled through October. (Check out a list of cities and venues here.)

"Each night Pam and me share the stage with our fabulous band!" Lorrie gushes. "The tour has been selling out in advance at performing arts centers and casinos across North America. I hope you have the opportunity to see me on the road and I can't wait to share the new album with you!"

Both two-time CMA Award winners with multi-platinum album sales, Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis are two of the most legendary female vocalists in country music history. Lorrie's long list of classics includes "Except for Monday," "What Part of No" and "Watch Me." Pam's timeless hits include "Maybe it Was Memphis," "Cleopatra, Queen of Denial" and "Spilled Perfume."
