Country queens Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis gave an invitation-only preview of their upcoming collaborative album, 'Dos Divas,' in Nashville on Wednesday (July 10). The pair performed songs from the new project and bantered with the industry audience at the offices of BMI on Music Row.

Tillis and Morgan have been touring under the billing Grits & Glamour since 2010. They share a common history that's unusual; Tillis' father is Country Music Hall of Fame member Mel Tillis, and Morgan's father was George Morgan, another Hall of Famer. Both followed their fathers into successful music careers, and both are members of the Grand Ole Opry.

They kicked things off with a new song called 'I Know What You Did Last Night,' which Morgan said was "a little bit Thelma, a little bit Louise" (quote via CMT). The song features the pair taking good-humored potshots at one another in regard to their drinking and romantic entanglements.

They also debuted another song in that vein, 'What Was I Thinkin',' in which Morgan sings, "I married Sammy - I almost married him twice." Fellow country star Sammy Kershaw was her fifth husband.

Another song referenced Morgan's romantic life in a more somber way. She dedicated 'Another Chance To' to her sixth husband, Randy White, "because it made me think of him when I recorded it."

"I Am a Woman' was the final song of the set. "This is truly our favorite song on the album," Tillis said.

"It's everything we are as women," Morgan added. The pair are planning to release a coffee table book by the same name.

The 14-song 'Dos Divas' album is scheduled for release on July 23 via Red River Entertainment. It is currently available for pre-order. Get the Grits & Glamour tour dates here.
