Loretta Lynn Joins Kacey Musgraves as Special Guest on 2014 CMA Awards [WATCH]

Kacey Musgraves is living the dream at the 2014 CMA Awards. She won Song of the Year with 'Follow Your Arrow' and then took the stage ... joined by special guest, the one and only Loretta Lynn.

It was the future of country joined with a country legend -- and it was a beautiful moment during the awards show. Musgraves appeared on stage in a short, sparkly dress, singing Lynn's hit 'You're Lookin' at Country,' and shortly into the song, Lynn herself walked onstage.

Dressed in one of her trademark long dresses, she stood next to Musgraves as they beautifully harmonized on the classic country song. It was two women in country -- one who made her own groundbreaking path into the industry, and another who's bringing a different and unique slant to the genre -- both showing country fans what they do best: sing and entertain.

The First Lady of Country Music and Musgraves received a standing ovation from their country peers, and Martina McBride and others looked highly emotional during the performance. Lynn was truly a special guest -- and her performance with Musgraves is one that won't quickly be forgotten.
