Lee Brice's new single, 'A Woman Like You,' is one for his female fans, and the singer says he's very fortunate the song was personally pitched to him.

"Jon Stone came over and said, 'I wrote this song.' He played it for me and I knew immediately I wanted to record it," Lee tells The Boot. "I went out and recorded a demo of it and within a couple weeks, my label [Curb Records] told me they wanted to release it as my next single."

The tune was released in October and is currently in the Top 30. "It's a very special story and it makes the women happy," says the North Carolina native, adding, "We definitely want to keep the women happy!"

Jon is producing some of the tracks on the new album and is expected to have a couple more songs on the project as well. The CD will due out next spring and the 'Love Like Crazy' singer is excited for fans to hear it.

"It will surprise some people," Lee confides. "There are definitely some different things on it."

In the meantime, Lee is preparing for Christmas and spending time with his son, 3 1/2-year-old Takoda.

"He comes to Nashville and I go to see him in Ohio, but I don't get to see him enough," the singer admits. "I'm making more time to see him, though."

Lee is also obviously having an effect on his son, noting that Takoda has a guitar and has already written his first song, 'Airplane.'

Lee also plans to take some time off to honor a Christmas tradition, camping with his buddies close to Waccamaw Lake, which is north of Myrtle Beach. "We go out for four days in the swamp with no cell phones and just hang out. We play guitar and maybe ride the river. It's a time for us to relax and catch up on what's been going on."

Fans can catch up with Lee for a few more concerts before he takes off for the holidays. He's in Columbus, Ohio tonight (Dec. 15), then Evansville, Ind. (Dec. 16) and Rootstown, Ohio (Dec. 17).
