Kip Moore has released the video for his new single, 'Young Love,' off of his upcoming sophomore album.

Moore's place in the video is in the periphery, reliving the scenery of his youth, which centers around a young couple and the disapproval of the girl's father, who calls the boy -- a young version of Moore -- "riff raff" and forbids the couple from seeing each other.

But rules are meant to be broken, and the couple hit the road in Moore's red muscle car, determined to let the power of love prevail.

Moore has been busy completing his follow-up album to 'Up All Night,' which he is hoping to release in the spring of 2014.

"It's a very, very intense record," Moore tells Billboard. "I feel like the first one, once you got past 'Somethin' 'Bout a Truck' and 'Beer Money,' there was a lot of nostalgia and reminiscing. It was kinda moody and ambient. This one is intense. There's more gritty guitar tones. It speaks more to the present, where the last one was more of a looking-back record. I feel like I cover better topics than I did on the first one, too. It's not going to be for everybody, but I think the fans of what we've been doing are gonna love it."

Moore is currently on the road with Lady Antebellum and Kacey Musgraves on Lady A's Take Me Downtown Tour.
