If anyone can successfully cross over to country from another genre, it's Kelly Clarkson. Still, on the heels of her platinum-selling, CMA-winning country duet with Jason Aldean, 'Don't You Wanna Stay,' the Texas native stayed committed to her pop roots with her latest album, 'Stronger.' Its debut single, the catchy, uptempo 'Mr. Know It All,' went all the way to No. 1 on the charts, solidifying the 29 year old's stance as a pop powerhouse.

But Kelly, who has countless ties to Nashville -- including a close friendship and smash hit duet with Reba ('Because of You'), hasn't abandoned her country fans. The original 'American Idol' is releasing a country version of 'Mr. Know It All,' a slower song with a little more guitar, a little less drums and a lot less production. Listen to it below.

Kelly and Jason are up for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for 'Don't You Wanna Stay' at next month's Grammy Awards. If you spot the singer at the after-parties in Los Angeles, she'll most likely be hanging out with buddies such as Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert and Jason ... and not the people you hear alongside her on pop radio.

"At country music events, everyone's so nice. But at pop events, everybody's too cool for school. Nobody ever talks," Kelly tells People magazine. "I like the acts musically, but I don't know anyone, which is weird because I've been doing this for ten years."

Up next for Kelly is a trip to the Super Bowl! She'll sing the national anthem this Sunday (Feb. 3) before the New England Patriots take on the New York Giants. She's also scheduled to help mentor Team Blake on Season 2 of 'The Voice,' which premieres right after the Super Bowl.
