Kane Brown has officially released a new single, "Lose It." Readers can press play above to hear the track, which he debuted on Thursday (June 7).

A few days before releasing "Lose It," Brown was teasing the song on social media. However, the country singer was dropping hints about the tune as early as March: An Instagram post from that month shows Brown at home, dancing to the chorus of the song with his dog.

Brown has seen a number of big successes lately, in both his personal and professional life: The fourth single off his debut album, "Heaven," recently scored him his second No. 1 hit, following the equally successful "What Ifs," a duet with Lauren Alaina. Additionally, Brown announced his engagement to fellow musician Katelyn Jae in April of 2017; the two are planning a wedding sometime this year.

Brown is set to perform at CMA Fest 2018 as well, and is coming off of two years as a New Male Vocalist of the Year nominee at the ACM Awards. The rising star landed his record deal after being discovered on social media.

Brown is also doing his part for social justice, as an advocate for those struggling due to the rental housing crisis: In 2017, Brown addressed the U.S. Senate at a congressional hearing, talking to lawmakers about the plight of low-income families struggling to find affordable housing, as well as to share his own experience of growing up in poverty in a family that struggled to make rent each month. More recently, Brown partnered with State Farm for the Neighborhood of Good project, which focuses on encouraging volunteerism within communities.
