Justin Moore Takes Fans ‘On the Road’

In a little over a year, Justin Moore has traveled from 'Small Town USA' to 'How I Got to Be This Way.' But not only are those the titles of his first and most recent hits, respectively, they also reflect Justin's upbringing (in the tiny town of Poyen, Ark., pop. 300) and the measure of success he has enjoyed since making his way to Nashville in 2002 and onto the roster of Big Machine Records. Throughout much of the past year, Justin was on the road with CMA Entertainer of the Year Brad Paisley, treating fans to his blend of straight-ahead country and Southern rock. While his status as husband and father have perhaps changed who the 26-year-old is at home, in front of a crowd he remains the same enthusiastic performer who first began playing music as a senior in high school.

Just before the holidays, Justin's fans braved frigid temperatures in Decatur, Illinois, for a chance to catch the singer doing something special: an acoustic performance in a more intimate theater setting, as part of CMT Radio LIVE with Cody Alan on Tour. Justin invited The Boot along for the journey from Nashville to Decatur and on the way, our cameras captured Justin hanging out on his bus, playing host of his very own radio show on the legendary WSM-AM and offering a glimpse into what fans can expect from him in the new year.
