Justin Moore, Brad PaisleyJustin Moore is on his second tour with country's waterlogged superstar Brad Paisley.

The H2O Tour promises to be one of the summer's best concert choices with Brad as the headliner, taking Darius Rucker, Justin Moore, Josh Thompson, Easton Corbin and Steel Magnolia along for the ride.

The Boot caught up with Justin after his concert at the Jiffy Lube Live venue in Bristow, Va., to find out what it's like to work for a boss like Brad.

"It's great," says Justin. "It's a huge opportunity for a new artist like me to get to go out and play for that many people and be around Brad and his crew. Brad really is -- what you see is what you get. He's a great guy."

Justin hasn't been on the road with Brad since the beginning of March, so connecting with him the first weekend of their current tour was a reminder of how Brad makes his opening acts feel as they're more than just employees getting a paycheck.

"The first thing he came up and said to me was, 'How's your daughter?' Justin explains. "I think that is a prime example of what kind of person he is. He didn't come up and ask anything about music or what we were going to play or this or that. He came up and immediately asked about Ella. That just proves what kind of person he is. It's going to be a blast this year."

So does Justin make Brad watch him while he's on stage?

"You know what, I can't make Brad do anything," laughs Justin. "He's hard to wrangle up. The good thing I will say about Brad, he does [watch]. I've seen him on the side of the stage watching us. That means a whole lot. It really does ... guys like me who are brand new at this. It also says a lot about him as an artist, having his hands on every aspect of his tour. He doesn't want somebody out there that's not doing something that fits with what he's doing. I'm glad that he's decided that we fit."
