Zac Brown Band’s John Driskell Hopkins Releases Christmas Album With the Atlanta Pops Orchestra
John Driskell Hopkins of the Zac Brown Band is spreading some holiday cheer this year -- with some help from the Atlanta Pops Orchestra and a few special guests. Together, they've released a brand-new Christmas album, In the Spirit: A Celebration of the Holidays.
The 12-track record includes Christmas hymns such as "Away in a Manger" and "O Holy Night," classic carols such as "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and even songs that fans of How the Grinch Stole Christmas and A Charlie Brown Christmas will recognize. Hopkins and the Pops are also joined on a few tracks by the Indigo Girls, Laura Bell Bundy and Balsam Range ("Do You Hear What I Hear?," "Baby, It's Cold Outside" and "What Child Is This?," respectively). A complete track listing is available below.
In addition to singing and playing on In the Spirit, Hopkins also helped produce and engineer the project.
In the Spirit: A Celebration of the Holidays is available via the Zac Brown Band's website as well as on iTunes.
