Jason Michael Carroll Answers the Call to Help Runaways

Jason Michael Carroll has partnered with the National Runaway Switchboard to raise awareness of the troubling issue of runaways in the U.S. The partnership is a natural step for the singer, whose latest single, 'Hurry Home,' tells the poignant story of a father wishing for the safe return of his runaway daughter.

Touched by the very issue himself, when Jason was a child, his aunt ran away from home. The experience gave him a sense of how the situation affects the people at home waiting and wondering.

"I was so young when my aunt left home that I grew up not knowing who she was -- just someone we prayed for every night," Jason recalls. "For all the families who are missing someone dear to them, and for all the young people who need a hand getting home, or staying home, I hope that what we're doing can help bring attention to an important issue and to the great resources available through NRS."
