Eric Church, Willie Nelson, Chris Stapleton and more artists, both country and not, will come together in early December to celebrate John Lennon for what would have been the musical icon's 75th birthday.

Imagine: John Lennon 75th Birthday Concert is set to take place on Dec. 5 at the Theater at Madison Square Garden and air on AMC on Dec. 19 at 9PM ET, celebrating the legend's music and message. In addition to Church, Nelson and Stapleton, Aloe Blacc, Sheryl Crow, Peter Frampton, Juanes, Kris Kristofferson, Pat Monahan, Tom Morello, the Roots and Steven Tyler are all scheduled to perform, and more acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

“It’s beautiful to see so many wonderful and talented musicians come together for this special show to celebrate John’s birthday," says Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono, via a press release (quote via Entertainment Weekly). "John’s art continues to give hope, light and happiness to generations of people everywhere. His belief that each of us can change the world continues to inspire the human race to believe in themselves, and his influence is everlasting in everyone’s hearts as we all share in the possibilities and power of music.”

Lennon was born on Oct. 9, 1940, in Liverpool, England. He was shot and killed in New York City, at 40 years old, on Dec. 8, 1980.

Tickets for Imagine: John Lennon 75th Birthday Concert are scheduled to go on sale on Nov. 17 at 9AM ET. More information is available on the venue's website.
