Danielle Bradbery has announced the release of the debut single from her upcoming new album.

"Friend Zone" will be available for download on iTunes this Friday (Aug. 28). The uptempo, rocking song, with lines like, "When she gets mad, it ain't gonna be pretty / Won't see it coming, it's like a curveball / You think you're doin' just fine, but she's got you on the sideline / You think you're flyin' toward the end zone / You're just headed toward the friend zone," is one of several songs that the Season 4 winner of The Voice has written for her sophomore record.

“I’ve been so excited to be able to do this, getting to write in two different places," Bradbery explained during a recent show in Atlantic City. "I’ve been in Los Angeles and Nashville, trying to get it spot-on for you guys and for me. I’m so excited. It’s the second project, and … it’s coming out soon. I promise.”

Bradbery has been performing "Friend Zone" in concert recently. Press play on the video below to hear a live version of the tune.

The 19-year-old will be serving as the opening act for Thomas Rhett and Brett Eldredge on their joint headlining 2015 CMT on Tour this fall.

“I love those two," Bradbery tells The Boot. "They’re so talented. They’re the hottest guys in country music right now. It’s amazing to be a part of that and to know [that] the crowd [will be] a mixture of their fans and my fans — it’s going to be so much fun.”

Bradbery has already shared another song, "Room for Two," from her upcoming album as well; however, there is no word on when the record will be released. A list of all of her upcoming tour dates is available on her website.
