She's a country singer fresh out of rehab with a star that's fading fast. He's her husband and manager, trying to mastermind her career resurrection. Gwyneth Paltrow and Tim McGraw star in the big-screen drama, 'Country Strong,' set to hit theaters this winter. The Boot brings you this exclusive world premiere of the movie trailer.

Filmed in Nashville and the surrounding area, 'Country Strong' also stars Garrett Hedlund as a rising singer-songwriter who becomes romantically involved with Gwyneth's character, Kelly Canter. Leighton Meester plays a beauty queen turned country singer who scores an opening act on Kelly's comeback tour.

Gwyneth herself sings the title track to the movie's soundtrack, with help from background vocals by Vince Gill and Patty Griffin. The song was released to country radio back in July.

There's no word yet on if Tim will have a tune or two on the soundtrack, but the chances are highly likely, even though he does not play a singer in the film. The country superstar's character in 'Country Strong' is quite different from his last big screen role -- as a doting, joke-cracking dad in the blockbuster movie, 'The Blind Side.' But this new, more dramatic character is something Tim wanted to add to his acting resume.

"If I'm doing a movie, I'd rather do the darkest, most human emotional kind of thing that I can do," Tim told The Boot earlier this year. "I don't necessarily want to be the bad guy. I just like the rawness of human emotion on any end of the spectrum. I'm not really crazy about the lukewarmness of things."

'Country Strong' hits theaters in limited release on December 22, 2010, and nationwide on January 7, 2011.
