Chris Cagle, ‘Back in the Saddle’ Album Out June 26
Chris Cagle is guaranteed one eventful start to summer. The singer-songwriter's fifth studio album, Back in the Saddle, will be released June 26. This marks the first LP from the Texas-raised singer since his 2008 project, My Life's Been a Country Song.
"The experience I've had making this record has rekindled the passion I had for music when I recorded my first record," Chris reveals. "Back in the Saddle is MY life! I wouldn't change anything about it; it is a record that I can live or die by and be content. I have given the fans my heart and soul, if it's not good enough, I can live with it. If it is good enough, well then, I can't wait to see what happens!"
The 11-track record includes his single, "Got My Country On," as well as five Chris originals. He penned "Southern Girl," "Something That Wild," "Dance Baby, Dance," "Now I Know What Mama Meant," and his upcoming single, "Let There Be Cowgirls." Chris co-produced the project with ACM and CMA award winner Keith Stegall.
In anticipation of the release, the singer will host his 2nd annual Unbridled Concert, June 8 at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon. The performance benefits Saddle-Up!, a horseback-riding program for physically and mentally challenged children.
Chris is currently on the road. His next stop is tonight (June 1) in Temecula, Calif., followed by a stop in Eagle Mountain, Utah tomorrow (June 2). Get a full list of tour dates here.
