Scotty McCreery fans won't have to wait too much longer for new music. The 19-year-old revealed during an appearance at CMA Music Fest last week that his sophomore album is almost finished.

"We've over-cut, which is so nice," he tells USA Today, adding that he still has to pick which faith-based song to add to the project. "We're still trying to decide on that one."

The 'American Idol' alum enlisted producer Frank Rogers (Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, Trace Adkins) to produce the upcoming album, which he hints includes a special guest on one of the tracks. "We''re 90 percent sure that we've got a big-time singer that's going to come on this track with me," he reveals.

Scotty co-wrote at least five songs on the upcoming album. He will spend his summer balancing working on his album with a busy tour schedule. Keep track of all of his upcoming dates here.
