It's going to be a hard choice between some of country music's favorite artists for Album of the Year in the 2013 CMA Awards.

Three of country's biggest superstars will vie against one of the genre's best vocal groups, and one ultra-hot newcomer, for the important award.

Blake Shelton's 'Based on a True Story' is one of the year's hottest albums, yielding him multiple nominations. Carrie Underwood's 'Blown Away' was another blockbuster from the superstar, while Taylor Swift's 'Red' saw her continue her commercial domination of multiple genres with its crossover appeal.

Kacey Musgraves debuted at No. 1 with her very first album, 'Same Trailer Different Park,' while veteran group Little Big Town broke through to the next level with 'Tornado.'
